1984 Mercedes 300D Turbo. This is a beautiful example of an extremely well maintained 1984 Mercedes 300D Turbo. It did not make reserve 1st time out of winter storage. It is completely original in every way except the radio. It has 234,000 miles. It is just starting to show signs of rust in the normal locations which could be corrected if desired (see pictures). The interior is in very good condition, showing little wear with no tears or rips. I have desided to lower the reserve as the response was good but the money just wasn't there. This is an excellent driver that will need nothing to "drive away". I have yet to see another one like this that can boast of that. I purchased this vehicle almost 5 years ago when it had 183,000 miles and believe to be the 3rd driving owner. It was my daily car and I put on about 10,000 miles a year and have averaged about 28 mpg. I have all the receipts showing this vehicle has been properly maintained. I am presently driving it since the last auction and all is well. The air conditioner works but is low on R-12 and should probably be changed over to R-134. My very fair price is based on "Old Cars Report Price Guide” and what I have seen out there. This vehicle is better than a #4 (Bad looking even at 20 foot and needing a lot of help). Again, this is an excellent driver that presently needs nothing to drive away. Arrangements can be made to see and drive at any time. This car is located in Burlington, Illinois.
