1992 Trans Am Convertible- All original Trans Am sold new here in North Carolina! Only 86K original miles verified by car-fax and a 6 digit odometer...It was sold at Vestal Pontiac new, then again used when the original owner traded it back in. I took a picture of the dealers sticker on the back bumper. Exterior-This Trans Am has all it's original paint. The hood, fenders, doors and quarters are in good condition and can be buffed to excellect quality. The bumpers, spoilers, hood inserts, and trunk will need to be painted to match as they are peeling and or oxidized. That would leave a beautiful paint job and mostly all original paint. The tires are almost new and sit on the factory 15x8 Gold TA wheels. The convertible top will need to be replaced as it is dirty and the rear window is broken...here is a link that you can get a factory like top inexpensively https://www.ezsofttops.com/p-502-1988-1992-firebird-convertible-top-with-a-plastic-window.aspx Interior-The interior is in fairly good condition with the rear seats looking like new and the passenger seat pretty good as well. I have shown pictures of the drivers seat where it is worn and tape has been used to protect it further. The dash pad is in very good condition with one small crack near the right speaker (tried to picture it) The door panels are good and a good clean-up and maybe recovering the drivers seat would be all you need. Mechanically-Car is sound with its original 5.0 Tune Port motor running perfectly. The transmission also shifts very well with no problems. All the controls seems to work except the power locks. Also the heat didn't work because someone had bypassed the heater core. I have installed a new heater core, the hoses just need to be corrected to make the water flow through there again (pictured). The A/c needs to be charged up but is all there and hooked up. The exhaust is factory and has a small leak but sounds ok. Headlights work fine, as does the radio wipers and all else. This is a great low mileage, low owner car that has been in North Carolina its whole life. Its rust free and would take very little to get it to excellent condition. My plan was to paint the spoilers, bumpers and trunk, get a new top and have a great condition convertible TA for the nice weather. I had not owned a convertible and thought it would make a great candidate. My wife doesn't like it and I am currently restoring a '74 TA I could use the money for.
