SHOW IT, DRIVE IT, ENJOY IT…AN AWESOME MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE This is a beautifully restomod example of a 1965 Mustang True Convertible with a removable Fastback Roof. It runs great, drives great, looks great, and the attention it gets is extreme! No Disappointments: This Convertible is a great investment and a fun car to drive and enjoy. From the engine compartment to the trunk and everywhere in between, this is a clean car. The following will be a description of each area of the car, being as in-depth and accurate as possible. Please keep in mind that this is a classic car that is over 46 years old, and although I will describe everything as best I can, some small items may have been overlooked. BODY: As you can see from the photos, this Mustang has an absolute gorgeous body. It’s also rock solid, with no evidence of rust ANYWHERE! The underside is also solid, with great frame rails, perfect torque boxes and floor pans. The car was repainted last month, base coat – clear coat application, very high quality prep and application, with no over-spray or orange peel. The paint was then professionally buffed to a high gloss and looks great! The underside is in excellent condition, and I could not detect any rust at all. The doors, trunk and hood all open and shut properly, and all of the glass is good. The car convertible reinforcements are rust free, including: convertible inner rockers; one-piece seat base and torque boxes. The roof is a fiberglass roof with a glass rear window. The roof comes off with 2 bolts, 2 wing nuts, and can be removed in less than 2 minutes. INTERIOR: The interior in great shape with all new components: · New Carpet and Kick Panels · All New Weather Stripping · New Upholstery · New Shelby Steering Wheel· New Dash Pad· New Door Panels· 4 Speed Shifter· New Convertible Top and Boot Cover ENGINE / MECHANICS: · The car starts at the flick of the key and runs strong and smooth. The car tracks straight and brakes straight, has good steering response and a nice ride. The 4 Speed Transmission shifts very responsive and smooth. The engine compartment is very clean, highly detailed and maintains its original appearance right down to the cadmium-plated bolts. Front drum brakes and rear drum brakes. The suspension and is very firm and responsive to the touch. The car runs and drive like new. New parts include:· New 3 Core radiator · Original 289 engine · Original Drive Train · Rebuilt 4-Speed Transmission · New Clutch · New Front and Rear Drum Brakes· New Shocks· New Shelby Torque Thrust Wheels and Tires· New Dual Exhaust· New Gas tank TRUNK: The trunk area is very clean, detailed, and looks like new. There is not even a hint of rust. A new trunk mat. Of course, all bolts are cadmium plated. No issues here, the pictures of the car speak for themselves. OVERALL: The car of course gets lots of looks, it's really what I'd call the perfect collector car: a super desirable TRUE CONVERTIBLE with a Fastback Roof. that needs nothing, and runs fantastic. Balance is due by wire transfer only within 3 days of auction end. The car will not be released until all funds have cleared my bank. The car will be securely garaged until pickup.
