Up for auction is a RUST FREE 1965 Ford Mustang with the original 289 that has been rebuilt, and a C4 automatic trans. The car has working A/C, Power Steering, and Power Brakes. That's right she is loaded with options. The car has about 5,000 miles on the motor since it was rebuilt and she runs great! She starts right up and no knocking, no smoking, and no leaks! The car was just painted about 4 months ago to a Viper Red. She has alot of new parts on her, and she is a head turner that is for sure. This is a California car that has NO RUST at all, the floor pans are perfect, the shock towers, trunk, and door are all perfect. This is one of the best 65 Mustangs I have seen when it comes to an overall Daily Driver type Mustang. She is not perfect but, she takes me wherever I need to go without any issues. The car will be sold to the highest bidder as the car will speak for itself!! There is NO RESERVE either!! VIN: 5R07C238803 ENGINE/ TRANSMISSION: The engine is a good running 289, with the correct date code 289 heads also. The car has a 2v carb on her, even though the air cleaner has the HiPo sticker for a 4 V. The engine has around 5,000 miles on her and I have the receipts for the rebuild also. The car sports Power Steering, Power Drum Brakes, and Air Conditioning that blows out between 34 degrees and 36 Degrees!! The power drum brakes stop nice and straight and don't pull to either side! The car has an older dual exhaust system with glass packs, so it sounds pretty good!The car just had a tune up, to include points, condenser, cap rotor, plugs, and wires. The fluids were all just recently changed also! She is a great running car that you could drive and enjoy! The trans is a Green Dot C4 automatic transmission that still works correctly!! That is pretty rare as most C4's were turned into a 3 speed. The green dot allows you to take off in a granny type gear, or in drive like normal. Just depends if you wanted to save some gas. You can also shift it manually and it will hold the gears in low through drive if you wanted to play around a little! The trans shifts nice and tight. The trans does have a slight shifter seal leak, nothing bad at all she will leave a quarter sized drop after a week. INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR: The interior is very clean overall. The door panels are new, the seats are very good with no tears at all. The carpet is good with no holes, and no fraying. The headliner looks new and no rips, but the dash has a couple cracks in her from the heat here. The windows all roll and down correctly, and the doors open and close tight with great body lines. The lights work all the way around the car, and the interior gauges work correctly also. The oil and Alt lights both function properly also. The car does need a turn signal switch I believe because the right blinker works but the left does not. The radio in the dash is not hooked up at this time, I have no idea if it works as I never tried to connect it. The exterior has fresh Viper Red paint from a few months back, and she has a small chip or two from being driven around town, as she is not perfect. The front bumper has some dents and could be replaced on her, the rear is decent. The chrome around the car is decent overall, with a new horse and corral up front. Wipers work, exterior lights all work, and the rocker panel moldings are new also. The trunk is rust free, and you will not find any filler on the car bigger that the size of a quarter, which was used to fix a few dents before being painted. The body on this car is great with the original sheet metal all the way around her! The tires are brand new, with the original hubcaps. INFO: The car is a DAILY DRIVER TYPE CAR!!!. The car is NOT perfect by any means but it’s 46 years old also. Please know this before bidding.
