In 7 years of helping folks find VW Campers, I have only seen a few Westy Weekenders with the chair lift (a program that VW offered for a while with both the Eurovan and the Vanagon). However, this is the first Full Westfalia Camper with a lift I have ever come across. For those that are not familiar with the amenities of the Westfalia Camper, it includes a Sink, Stove and Fridge with great cubby and closet space. Take a good look at how the fold down rear seat accommodates the shape of the lift still enabling the user to extend the bed to sleep on it. That is awesome. The lift itself will support up to 600 pounds and is fully functional. The interior is immaculate and hardly used. Plastic still on the stove lid of course. It was serviced at one VW Dealer in Ft. Collins its entire existence. The woman that owned it passed on a stack of maintenance records a mile high. Every oil change, every tire rotated, every issue addressed. The odometer failed at 58K miles and was replaced immediately. The VW Dealership house records show this. You will receive a copy of this and it is marked inside the door jam of the vehicle as well. The lift can be taken out with minimal impact on the vehicle should you choose to do so, (this equipment is secured to the floor and one part to the wall), but we are hoping we can place it as it is. The vehicle has had a final inspection and approval for safety and emissions at the only dealer it was ever serviced at here in Colorado. My shop which specializes in just the VW Vanagon Camper has gone through it with a fine tooth comb as well and in our opinion, this is a 9+, save some small areas where the clearcoat is showing its age. It is rust free and much like it was when it was first sold to its only owner.
