Thank you for viewing the listing for my 1986 735i sedan. I am a BMW enthusiast and bought this vehicle for my son, who has now lost his licence ! This 735i is in very good original condition and has been garaged throughout its life. There is absolutly no rust anywhere. The drivetrain runs strong . The engine uses no oil and performs 100%. The transmission shifts properly thru all gears. It is equiped with new tires all the way around. I have driven it daily for the last several months with no issues. The paint is not great with the typical clear coat peeling. The interior is decent with the typical dash cracks. All of the accesories work properly except the climate control functions. The defroster does work properly with the fan wired to its own switch. The only mechanical issue of note is that the center shaft bearing is wearing and just recently has caused a vibration under initial acceleration. This issue needs to be addressed as these bearings will fail once they start to vibrate. It is not an expensive repair but is a bit of a hassle . This is a very solid 735I and has not been molested and has never been in an accident. This car has many miles to go and will serve its new owner well.
