VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY Up for action is a 1955.2 1/2 ton short bed 3100 Original Napco 4x4. Has original running 235 engine (6 cylinder) and 4 speed manual transmission. The serial number on the front napco axle match the serial number on the napco transfer case. The front axle is stamped 3100 with 3.90 gears. The transfer case is also stamped 3100. Has original m21 Warn hubs that work like they should. The engine runs and sounds good. Does not smoke at all. This is the original engine to the truck. The transmission and transfer case shift well (no issues). Radiator is good and does not overheat. Has original 17" split rims that are 8 lug. The rear end has the factory adaptors on rear axle since Napco did not change the rear end and did not have napco 6 lug front ends until 1956. New rear tires and new tubes all around. Tires are 7.50 x 17. Has new gas lines, radiator hoses, battery, points, coil, spark plugs and wires, carb has been rebuilt. New shocks all around, springs are still in good shape (still have arc). Truck does need brakes gone through. Has rust in usual places. (ie. cab corners and bottom door hinge pockets). The rest of the cab is solid. Dash is clean and not cut up. Gauges seem to work well, headlights and running light work. Original deluxe heater is intact, but not hooked up electrically ( does not leak). All glass is good except the passenger door glass is cracked, but intact. Windows roll up and down good. Seat is in good shape. I will not disclose the reserve price, so please do not ask. Bid with confidence. These are current photos. Date is wrong on the pics. Original Exterior color was Dark green(can be seen on the firewall) with a white interior. In 1955 there was no paint code on the gvw tag. So if you decide to restore the truck, you cant go wrong with whatever factory color you like! The hood is near perfect. That is minor surface rust.
