Parts replaced within last 10k miles: Brake Pads Steering Linkage Shocks Struts I purchased and maintained this vehicle for my wife... Automatic 4 wheel drive with the snow and plenty of space for kids, groceries, etc. Since then have found we need more seating for 1 more... selling so we can look towards buying a larger vehicle. Additional items... 1. The interior is in good shape, although there is some wear on the front seats (no apparent rips or tears). 2. The steering parts replaced include the tie rod ends, ball joints, idler arm and pitman arm. They were replaced in Oct/Nov 2010 by Pepboys out of an abundance of caution due to wear and play in the bushings. 3. Since October, the car has has been driven less than 3,000 miles... My personal vehicle is 4wd and my wife has been on required bed rest since December. For the most part the vehicle has been parked in the garage throughout the winter. 4. To my knowledge, this past winter has been the first winter it has been up north... previously it was in Tenn. I do not see any body or frame rot from the northern winter. 5. The 2000 Escalades came with second row seating with ample storage space in the rear, but, to my knowledge, did not come with 3rd row seating. Obviously, this vehicle does not have 3rd row seating. 6. Everything works, but as an 11 yr old vehicle, it has its quirks. I could use another steering alignment as the new steering parts set in, the highest setting on the fan does not always work (but the other 3 do), and the a couple of dash lights may need to be replaced (dim or flicker from time-to-time), namely the 3 and 6 buttons on the radio and the lights by the 4wd, although everything works. I hope this answers the majority of the questions people have. The vehicle is available to be shown, driven, and mechanically checked out. Please do this before the auction ends if it is important to you. While I find this vehicle to be reliable, always starts for me, exhibits no major leaks, etc., check it out and ask if you have any questions before the close of the auction.
