Vehicle Detail

1954 Chevy Deluxe (uncompleted project) Started this project and never finished it. I haven’t had the money to mess with it in the last few years and the wife says it needs to go. After years of her nagging me about it I agreed. The original engine and tranny are gone. The current engine is a small block chevy 350 .30 over built by Mark’s performance engines in AZ with a claimed 375 hp, according to another shop 'horsepowerhouse' in KY who I had look it over to make sure I got what I paid for , said to expect 325 to 335hp. Carburetor is an edelbrock 1407 Transmission is a 700r4 from Street-n-strip in tarpon springs, fl. Their description of transmission is - 700r4 hp unit corvette servo; 500 boost valve; Kevlar band; stage 3 shift kit; ALTO Red Eagle Nine Clutch pack; B29 converter. Original rear-end and torque tube are still on the car, but I have a 10 bolt from a 78’ z28 which is the correct width I was going to use for this application that goes with the car. I have the springs and hangers form the z28 as well but i do not know if they are good for this application. (came with the rear end) There are zero miles on the engine and transmission. Unknown mileage on the z28 positraction rear-end. Body work was done in 2003 and it has not seen the road since (never got it put back together). I have fender skirts and sun visor all painted the same color as the car and all new. Body is straight without any waves to the panels even. The paint has a couple of chips where i hit it removing seats and one where a bike fell against it (yes, she lived, just barely) Didnt dent just chipped the paint. Sheet metal was welded in to replace flooring where rust was. I welded in a 2" by 6 piece on the box frame where a hole was, it should be redone if this is to be a show car and not a driver. It doesnt look bad but i never sanded it flush. (just trying to be completely up front on the sale) Gaskets on door and trunk have been redone. Front brakes have been switch to disc brakes to handle the extra weight with a new master cylinder and booster from CPP aluminum radiator I purchased from summit (I think it is their house brand). - new Painless 12 circuit wiring block - new Door handles have been shaved and poppers installed but I still have the original hardware and it would be an easy switch back if you so desired. Oil cooler – new B&M Mega shifter – new 100 amp chrome alternator (summit brand) – new Auto meter street rod series gauges in dark nickel – new Electric cooling radiator cooling fan - new No interior – was going to do buckets and a wraparound back and never got to it. While most of the trim, bezels and the like are not in the pictures i do have them and they do come with the car. More pictures available; car doman has a few pictures, look up drgrenthum, If there is anything in particular you need a close up on let me know and i will post it there. I have about 10k into this unfortunately, and am looking to get about half out of it. Figure i could part it for 7k but i told the wife i would sell it two years ago so not sure she would let me live if i spent the next year parting it out.
