Vehicle Detail

Hey you are bidding on a 1968 camaro. 350/350 with a 12 bolt 4;10 posi rear. 4 wheel manual drum brakes, (that actually work pretty well). THE FRONT SEATS YOU SEE HAVE BEEN RECOVERED, they are back to original black covers from classic industries. I have just replaced the door hinges (and did the best i could aligning them I'm not a body guy) I just replaced the ign switch butit still work intermittenly. I've been jumping it just to move it in and out. The car is an original bucket seat console car. It looks to me that the quarters have been replaced. The body has good metal on it and is not a bondo queen like most of these. I originally bought this car because of the good metal, The passenger sider floor pan will need replacing. The owner before me patched it with sheet metal and self tapping screws. Not bad but ti be perfect it would have to be fixed. She has new tires on her with rally wheels, I am missing one trim ring. This car is not perfect thats also why it is not carrying a huge price tag. The car is complete and a great place to start it isnt perfect. There is a brand new drive shaft and new torque converter brand new radiator, door hinges, ign switch water pump. The battery is in the trunk. The engine runs strong and has 3 inch flow masters that drop before the reat axle. This has a 4 barrel q-jet. This is A gm STEEL cowl hood not the cheap fiberglass. I have a brand new spoiler that goes with this! Above the crack in the dash picture the bottom of the window was rtv'd. I ahve washed the car many times and there is no sign of leaks. I have a transferable registration signed over from the last owner and also a vin verification from the old saybrook police department, certifying that this is ligit. The regestration is from ny. the car is currently stored in Old saybrook ct.
