This car is a "swinger special" edition. According to research these came with the slant six 225, 318, and the demon had the 340 engine. However the original engine has a sticker on it that shows "360" I'm going to assume it's a 318 with a sticker on it... I think, again I'm not in front of the car, but I think it had the a/c option. It does have disc brakes up front, so that is a plus. Car is not running and has minor rust. It is a 2 door coupe model. For a mopar of this year it is in great shape. This was not a vinyl top version so there is no pitting or rust on the roof. Would need very minor body work, a small spot on the back window, rear lower quarters, and a few small patches on the floor pans. Also needs a front passenger side fender. Trunk is very very solid, roof is near perfect. I will also include a NEWLY REBUILT 360 ENGINE, yes a second complete motor with intake and headers. The intake is an Edelbrock 318/360 and has been used, but is in good shape. The headers are new to like new and are flat black. I do not have paperwork on the motor, and it has never been fired up, but I'm sure it is good to go. Engine is in a storage locker 10 mins away, so if you want to see the car and motor it's very close. From what I was told by the previous owner, the motor should be around 320hp, it has a 441 lift cam that will give it a really good sound and has double roller timing set. So what you get is a 71 Dart, complete with motor and tranny (auto on the column) still in the car, interior, etc. and a complete second freshly rebuilt motor. For this reason I encourage you to come see the car. I am selling to clear up space, not to make money, I don't need money right now and am not out to make a quick buck. Of course you can buy a Dart already restored, but you can do this one much cheaper and know what you are are starting with and have the satisfaction of a good restoration project.
