If you follow my auctions you know I have been selling used ATV's on eBay for over 10 years and try to find nice used machines to sell weekly. The hardest machines for me to find are the under $3000 4x4's. This week I found this really nice Suzuki Eiger and what a machine it is. The Suzuki Eiger is an extremely tough machine with a 400cc four stroke engine that has a huge oil cooler with a thermostatically operated fan. They are one of the favorites in farm country because they are just the right size, have a four gallon fuel tank and just sip fuel so they can run all day and have a reputation for bulletproof reliability. I had never been that excited about them since they are a true Japanese machine (instead of a Japanese machine that is built in the US) and I have been trying to steer towards US made machines, loving my country and all. Well these really do have that Japanese build quality and my nephew chose one for a extended 3 day weekend ride and we all fell in love with it. Light, agile, quiet, reliable, and really fun to ride. After some investigation I found I am a little slow to the party. It is one of Suzuki's best selling machines and the 400cc engine is the one Arctic Cat chose for their best selling 400 ATV! If it is good enough for Cat it is good enough for me. I bought this so I can sell it for that coveted under $3k price and it will make someone a great used ATV.
