Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1987 Mustang LX with a 1998 Mustang Cobra Drivetrain. This car started life as a 5.0 5 speed not a 4 banger. This car runs and drives great and I would trust it to drive anywhere. The engine, rear end, wiring harness, and front brakes were all removed from a wrecked 1998 Mustang Cobra. The engine is stock aside from an after market balancer and MSD coils. All of the body and engine wiring was swapped from from the Cobra to the LX. It has a Granatelli motor sports tubular K-member, A-arms and coil over kit. The transmission is a tremec 3650 out of a 2001 Mustang Cobra. It has 373s in the rear end. The exhaust consists of 2 1/2" Bassani X pipe and 2 1/2" flowmaster cat back with 3 1/2" tips. The car has a Corba R hood and the entire car including all the jams and underside of the hood and trunk was painted competition orange a few months ago. All the trim has been repainted satin black. The headlights and tail lights are new. The windshield in new. The wheels are off of a 2004 GT with new tires all the way around. The rear tires are Nitto drag radials. I was in the process of converting the interior to black so the interior consits of gray and black factory plastic. The front seats are black racing high backs and are new. The steering wheel is after market and removeable. This car is not perfect but is an awesome car to drive and gets a lot of attention. The only mechanical issue it has is the 3rd gear synchro is starting to go out. It still shifts into gear, but sometimes makes noise. I would give the paint and body an 8 out of 10. It does have some dints and dings, but is in really good shape. All the hard work has already been done to this car and with some small detail work could make a really nice driver. If you have any questions or would like some more pictures of the car please let me know. I have tried to describe this car the best I can. This car is also available for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Thanks for looking. Here is a walk around video of the car http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XMvZe6A7yQ
