For auction is this 1970 Honda CT70. This is an automatic 3 speed transmission model with a manufactures date of 10/69. The bike starts, runs and rides. There is black tape holding the headlight rim on. The handlebars have some bends and dents, but the black plastic screw knobs work properly so you can lower the handlebars to the sides of the bike. The seat has been recovered and the seat pan looks to be in good condition (it is not broken in half like most CT70 seats). The exhaust looks to be in good condition - there are some small dents in the muffler and some spots of rust, but no through spots of rust. All of the heat shields are on the exhaust pipe and muffler. The original paint has alot of scratches and the body decals are rubbed through. Both the front and rear fenders have dents on the edges. The front fender has some shallow dents on the top. The front tire has weathering on the sides. The rear tire looks to be in fairly good condition. The taillight and housing are in good shape. It has some cool buddy pegs on it. I have not been able to get the headlight and taillight electrics working - could be the bulbs..?? There is no title with the bike, but I will provide a bill of sale. Sold as-is. Buyer is responsible for the cost and arranging of shipping.
