Up for bid is a 1966 Ford Mustang Sprint 200 project car, "The Millionth Mustang edition" which was built for 6 months only (Google Ford Millionth Mustang for details). After rebuilding the carburetor in August 2010, the engine starts and runs well. The transmission was rebuilt in 1978 and has seen little onroad service since rebuild. I believe the color of the car is Ford Night Mist blue and did have a white vinyl roof. The body shop which was supposed to restore this car for me in the 70's removed the vinyl roof as well as many other body parts. I have most all of these original parts. I am including with the car one each new right and left rear quarter panel, right and left rust free doors complete with windows, one rust free hood, and various other spare parts, which I have had in storage since 1978. This car is in need of extensive restoration, including replacement of the windshield, floor panels, and rear quarter panels, etc., but could be an outstanding Sprint specimen again. I do have a couple of service records for this car from the original owner dated 1976. Additionally, I do have clear New Jersey title for this vehicle which will have to be transferred to the successful buyer when the car is picked up by the buyer. The successful bidder will submit a nonrefundable deposit consistent with 1/2 (one-half) of the final price to PayPal within 24 hours of the auction close to secure the vehicle. The balance due is to be paid in cash within 7 business days after the auction close. The pictures which I have posted with the ad should answer most questions anyone may have. Vehicle and spare parts are sold as is with no returns. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup. I recommend a car trailer for the car and pickup truck for the spare body parts.
