1972 Buick Skylark Custom Convertible for sale! TAX Day Special. Must sell, owe Uncle Sam to much money. It is Numbers matching "J" code car Meaning 4 barrel 350/Turbo 350.Dual exhaust, 10 bolt rear end I am guessing 2.73 gears? Paint code 65 Flaming Orange IRID with White top and White interior Way cool combo. This car is a great driver, I would drive it any where! Drives straight and smooth. Good power the engine is strong and doesn't smoke. The body does need work though, I would replace the quarter panels and the Trunk floor needs to be replaced. It looks like it was in a rear end accident at one point thats why the rebuilt title. The frame on the driver side rear behind the axleneeds to be straightened, I got a quote for 4 hrs labor to do that. The top is in ok shape, it needs new window and the hydraulics have been unhooked because they leak. To top comes upbut kinda hard because of no hydraulics. The interior has front seats maybe out of 80's Camaro, The dash pad has two cracks on both ends of the dash(hard to see). Has a Rally Pack Gauge cluster and clock. The Air conditioning Compressor is frozen up, but everything is there and hooked up. Everything works, the lights,wipers,heater and the top motor. Body needs the most help, there is chips all over and the dent on the driver front fender can be fixed. Both bumpers have seen better days, and the hood has a small dent I am in the middleof fixing,the front hood piece has only 1 bolt unbroken that's why it's off. Doors are in good shape I would replace the deck lid maybe off a hard top doesnt look right,and the glass is all there.The driver side rear window has a broken guide 10 bucks through.Year one. Bottom line this is a great running car and is selling NO RESERVE!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BID if you can't buy!! This is selling... Some people have said they don't like my picture's, I don't know this camera and it has a sun filter on, If you want more picture's send me a note I have taken 50+ in and out of my garage.this is not a show car and need full restoration, It is probably a 4 or 3-on the 1to5 scale. the paint was done maybe 10 years ago and doesn't look like the body work was the best. Needs allnew weatherstrip and the correct interior put in, But that said this is a fun cruiser I get looks and wave's and honk's where ever I drive it. Mechanically sound. I love this car and do not want to sell it, But Uncle Sam needs there $$$.
