For your bidding consideration is a 1982 HONDA 110 TRAIL BIKE WITH SIDE CAR. (THE DATE STAMP ON THE PHOTOS IS WRONG, THEY WERE TAKEN 4-5-2011) This vehicle is an estate item that has been in storage for the last year by the seller. It was purchased new by the seller’s father and had been in service up till the time of his passing. The original owner used this vehicle primarily for short errands. The seller does possess and will provide clear title to the buyer at the completion of sale. The vehicle was professionally serviced at the end of March. The service performed included an oil change, tune up, and adjusting valves. The condition of this TRAIL BIKE is GOOD. Upon general inspection: A good cleaning and waxing would make a huge improvement on its appearance. The odometer indicates 21,301 original miles driven. The bike started easily using the kick start and drove fine both on the street and somewhat rougher terrain. The battery needs replaced. The head light (bright/dim), brake light, and turn indicators functioned well. All lenses were in good condition. The lights were a little dimmer due to a weak battery that will require replacement. Both the primary and reserve gas tanks look to be in very good condition. The primary tank is metal and showed no signs of rust. The reserve tank is plastic with approximately one half gallon capacity. The paint is original and has faded. The body and fenders looked to be solid and in good condition. No cracks or dents were observed. The chromed spoke wheels and tires appeared in good condition. The tread on tires (2.75 X17) look very close to new. Both the front and rear seats have small punctures/tears in the upholstery. However there are two new replacement rear seats included with the bike. The front and rear struts appear to be in good functioning condition. The exhaust/muffler appeared and sounded in good condition. MODIFICATIONS: As the owner progress down life’s road he found it necessary to make some minor modifications to the bike to make it a little easier to operate. Both of the modifications are easily removed to return it to its original configuration. A shifter extension handle was added due to weakness in his leg along with a knee rest (PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR CLARIFICATION). The Side Car is an aftermarket addition made shortly after the bike was purchased. The condition of the SIDE CAR is GOOD. Upon general inspection: A good cleaning and waxing would make a huge improvement on its appearance. The side car shell is of fiberglass construction and did not show any appearance of cracks or holes. The dimensions are 5 feet long from nose to back and 2 feet wide from bike outside wall to outside wheel. The paint is faded and the rubber channeling will likely need replacement. The inside is carpeted and equipped with a detachable seat. The seat is constructed of molded plastic and is upholstered with a padded diamond pattern vinyl. Both the seat and upholstery are in great shape. The support frame, fender, and wheel appear to be solid and in good shape. The tire (3.50 X 10) does have tread wear and will likely need replacement.
