Garaged for years and years Original 6 cylinder 90 h.p. engine rebuilt circa 1982, thus the reason for the Ford blue paint instead of the Chevy grey. O' what Memories! I purchased the truck in 1979 from a Wisconsin farmer’s grandson. I then drove it for a wonderful, care-free, sun-drenched summer, then the old truck moved me 1200 miles west to Colorado. In fact I won tickets to a Merle Haggard concert because of it. “Wish a Ford and a Chevy could still last ten years like they should”. Drove it another year or so until I got married, then I drove her hot new Firebird and more or less, retired the truck. 30 plus years later it’s all history, lots of very good old memories. I had always intended to restore it frame up. But kids, college, marriage, etc., now down-sizing has become more important than taking on new projects. I’m looking for a real good home for this great old truck. Hasn’t run in quite a few years but wouldn’t take much to get her running down that dusty ol’ country road again.
