For auction is this 1972 Honda CB450 project bike. The bike is titled and shows 20140 miles. The bike starts, runs and goes through all 5 gears. The bike was last registered in 1998, so it has been sitting a while. The left carburetor has a broken cable - the carb works by hand, but not with the twist grip. The engine does not smoke when started or running. The electric start works, but the button only works half the time. Could be corrosion in the switchs - it has been sitting a while. The seat cover is torn. The gas tank and side covers have been repainted. The paint is in nice condition. The inside of the gas tank has overspray inside. The mufflers are 2 different styles - makes for an interesting sound. The chrome on the front fender is fair - there are the normal rock chips. The front tire is weathered. The chrome on the rear fender and top shock covers is in nice condition. The rear Kenda tire looks to be in fair condition. The headlight works on low beam only. The taillight works. I could only get the left blinkers to work - again, it could be corrosion in the switch. The ignition switch has the key. The seat latch has it's key. They are not key alike. Would be a great commuter bike with some TLC and in someone elses garage. Sold as-is. Buyer is responsible for the cost and arrangeing of shipping.
