Vehicle Detail
NO RESERVE!!! For sale I have a 85 Camaro Z28 with 95K original miles. I bought this a month ago and I was excited to bring it home and show my girlfriend, well she was not impressed and wants a boat so unfortunately I am going to let my Camaro go. If there is not a serious buyer for it I will keep it and wait until next year to get a boat. Overall I would say car is 8 out of 10 for the year. Engine runs VERY STRONG, shifts fine (automatic), nice paint (was redone at some point car used to be red and some small spots here and there could use touch up-nothing major. Nice black rims and has dual chrome tip exhaust coming out the back. All lights and turn signals work, even courtesy lights under dash and on top of interior. T-Tops come in and out fine and do not leak, have cover for them but cover is is so-so shape. Seats were redone at some point and show some fading, and floor carpet has some stains which show in pics. Car has gotten me lots of attention driving around town and lots of fun with T-tops off. I have only driven car for a month so I will not claim to know everything, but will list as much as I can so you are an informed buyer. Of course, would always recommend inspecting in person if you are local and serious about buying. Minor items that need attention: - Temp gauge only gauge that does not currently work, one piece of trim backer in trunk is missing (I took picture of screw out of hole), left speakers do not work, original radio does work fine, emergeny brake has bad sensor and needs attention my buddy played with it and got light to turn off but if you try and use it caution light will probably come back on :), cloth interior on drivers seat glue has come loose, seatbelts are there but not great, headliner is in great condition but plastic is sagging in front and missing a clip to hold it up tight, visors do not stay up well, and heat/AC work but fan vent switch does not seem to change air direction, right now coming out primarily of defrost vents by windshield. The great about the car: - Engine runs strong with no issues, good brakes, tires appear to be practically new with lots of tread, low miles, windows roll up and down with ease, nice door panels, nice T-tops, nice dual exhaust with chrome tips, dash has no cracks or tears in it, engine bay in good condition, new lifters for both hood and trunk, new fan motor, has AC that works, and of course car gets lots of attention and compliments! I have tried to list everything about the car, hoping that you realize it is a 1985 after all and does need minor work if you want it to be an 10 out of 10, or just drive it as is and you will still have a blast in this Camaro!!! * It is not fuel injected (carb), idles fine at about 500 RPM's. Title is in previous owners name, already signed but new owner left blank and will be handed to you, I have not gone to DMV yet but will transfer to my name if car does not sell- CLEAN TITLE. Please e-mail with any questions, thanks and good luck bidding on this classic muscle car! Patrick
