UPDATED/REVISED 1983 Mercedes 380 SL - Classic car. Silver/blue with blue soft top. This listing has been revised and updated due to some recent items which have been noticed and that were not included in the initial listing. Please carefully read listing! Car is "as is" "where is". I did drive this car from Florida to Dallas last year and got there with no problems. Car has been garage kept and rarely driven. Almost no rust-found some very slight rust under carpet in trunk (just noticed). Very good condition---chrome is bright and shiny. Paint on trunk lid has faded. Mileage is approximately 78,000. Just noticed that Odometer not working but it was working when I put the car in storage last year. Car has not been driven in a year--only started up from time to time. Have removable hard top and stand. Soft top in ok condition. No rips or tears but back window is beginning to get foggy. New gas tank (old one had a leak) and battery. Tires in decent shape. New wiper motor 2 years ago. All original interior. Beautiful, original floor mats with MB logo. Also has original MB first aid kit. Radio works but not great. Dash has some cracks-common in cars this age particularly convertibles. Blue leather interior. Driver's seat has some cracks/tears. Original Mercedes floor mats. Perfect, new spare tire with rim--looks brand new! Automatic transmission. V-8 engine. Car drives great. Several people have driven it and a mechanic has looked at it and all confirm that the engine is great. Appears to be some coolant leaking under the car. Not sure what it needs. A/C not coming on but could just need coolant-car has sat for a year. Worked when I put it in garage last year. There is a dent in the hard top at the driver's side upper corner. Car is located in Dallas, TX purchaser responsible for picking up car. Will not ship. I have tried to accurately describe the vehicle, but there is no substitute for looking. I can send extra pics if you email me. This car is a little tank. Heavy German body. Email with questions. Also have cloth car cover to throw in. I have loved this car and been very gentle with it.
