1927 Ford Model TT, one ton truck, black body, black fenders, black top, with black interior and seats. This truck was partially restored in the early 1990’s. It was not restored for showing, but rather for use in local parades. Rust was removed and the body and frame primed and painted. New glass was installed, new top installed, new tires & tubes, new battery last year, new wood in bed, most all metal is original. Minimal engine work (carburetor cleaning, new points, condenser, and plugs) was performed to get the truck in driving condition. This truck looks great, as you can see from the photos. Mechanically the truck is in good condition. Steering is tight, brakes are good, the transmission with Ruckstell two speed gearbox and rear end are in good condition. The engine starts, runs, and drives fine, but leaks some oil at the rear main seal (typical of used Model A and T engines.) Not enough to cause a problem, but will need work in the future. Overall, the truck is good condition, runs and drives and would be a good basic “driver” or a great starting point for a street rod. To be sold as is and where is.
