1935 Ford Tudor Slantback, all steel, 10 yr. old frame-off restoration of a numbers-matching car. Original 85hp Flathead V8, 3 spd. transmission, and drivetrain have been rebuilt with approx. 3,000 miles on the car. Upgrades include a 12 volt electrical system (with alternator), hydraulic brakes, turn signals, and an aluminum radiator with electric fan. The engine has Mallory electronic ignition with coil, headers, electric fuel pump, chrome accessories and stainless steel on the firewall. The engine has just been tuned up with new plugs, plug wires, etc. It runs smooth, and shows very well. The dual exhaust (with glasspacks) gives the car a nice mellow sound. Tires are 205/75R15 Uniroyal whitewalls with steel wheels, Ford hub caps, and trim rings. The suspension is standard transverse leaf srings with a sway bar on the front and tubular shocks all around. The body color is metallic emerald green, and the interior is silver-green velour. The banjo steering wheel is excellent, as is the dash and instruments. The body is very straight, rust-free, and the grille is in exceptional condition. It is not a perfect show car, but it runs and drives excellent, and is very presentable with only a few minor light scratches. It is equipped with a heater that works great, and the cowl vent and crank-out windshield operate for cool air. All glass, bumpers, and guards are excellent. Everything works, and I have some of the original parts that go with the car (distributor, radiator, spare tire ring, etc.). Also included is a flannel California fitted car cover.
