1982 Suzuki GS

Like it's owner, this bike is an Old Warrior. It's beat up, needs several parts replaced, and doesn't run. It has been sitting in my garage for almost 2 years. It ran good and hard the last time I rode it It's no GS1100E, but it ran well). But, the petcock only worked by gravity, and I forgot to shut it off one night. A couple of days later, I had a hard time starting it, then an oil/fule mixture gushed out of the airbox. I shut it off immediatley (duh). The gas tank on it isn't original and doesn't fit up to the trim. The original tank is the black one with the rust and the holes under neath. The seat has a hole near the back right end. Obviously, you'll have to clean out the carbs and engine very well, replace the petcock, and probably replace both tires (the back one is flat now) and do some work on the brakes. Now, with that said, I want to be clear: IF you don't know how to fix stuff or you don't have a friend who does, you'll spend some real money getting this to be road worthy. I never titled it into me. I'll give you a Bill of Sale. It's for sale locally only, and you'll need to pick it up in Greenwood Forest, off of FM1960 near Stuebner-Airline. Don't ask to come by to look at it -- life is too short to mess around with folks who aren't serious about knowing what they are will to buy. The reserve price is $500. I'm selling it for money to put toward a BBQ smoker. If I don't get at least $500 for it, I'll part it out.
