This '97 Boxster runs and drives like new. The clutch, brakes and tires are excellent. The Boxster Red leather interior is beautiful. It has a very nice sounding Bose CD player mounted in the place where the cubby-hole used to be. Very neet job, retaining the original unit. Power seats, power window, power locks, ice cold AC , power top are work like new. The engine runs smooth and quiet. The clutch is smooth and the 5 speed gearbox shift sure and true with a very nice, notchy feel. The convertible top canvas is excellent, however there is a split in the soft rear window that has been patched with clear tape, which works fine, does not leak, but it's not perfect. The Arctic Silver Metallic paint is beautiful, and body is rust free.
