Vehicle Detail

2009 BMW F650GS, ABS, Heated Grips, Excellent Condition, 15,462 miles, $3,000 worth of extras; NO RESERVE! - All service performed by Pikes Peak Motorsports, Colorado Springs -- you may call Larry or Dan in service, at 719-635-3004, for details. - Warranty through August 26, 2011. - Over $ 3,000 worth of extras (see list below). - Garaged kept -- Professionally maintained -- Superb Condition -- never dropped or down; no dents, dings, scrapes, scuffs or scratches, except for 1 small ding on right side luggage (see photo), some very minor scratches on the front edge of the side cases from mounting/dismounting (so minor, photos wouldn’t show them) and, of course, minor scratches inside the cases from stuff moving around. - Why am I selling this bike? Well, I bought it last year for my wife hoping she would ride with me; however, after a few visits to the ER (she’s a Nurse) she decided she does not want to ride and wishes I would not ride either (OUCH!). - I am the third owner. The second owner, A BMW-rider friend of mine, put most of the miles on the bike and never took it off road. In fact, I persuaded him to move on to a new R1200RT (because he doesn’t ride off-road) so I could buy this bike for my wife. Since I bought it, I am the only one who has ridden it -- all road miles. Based upon the “unchipped” condition of the bike all around, I would be surprised if it was ever taken off road. - This is a wonderful “go-anywhere, all-weather bike” that is amazingly easy to ride. Although it weighs about 440 lbs fully-fueled, it feels 100 lbs lighter due to its geometry, wide handlebars, upright sitting position and low-center of gravity partially achieved by the location of the gas tank under the seat. I have a 31” inseam and my feet are flat on the ground when seated. If I didn’t already have my R1200GS (for now) I would keep this bike forever. It really deserves a new home. - There are still a few months of warranty left on it, although you won’t need it because this bike was well-maintained from day-1 and these bikes, by design, are bulletproof, low-maintenance survivors. The balance should be paid within 10 days; wire transfer, cashier’s check or personal check is fine; however, whatever you choose, I will not release the bike until the payment (both deposit and balance) have cleared the bank.- To be fair to all bidders, I will not end the ad early. - You may call me at 719-649-4388 for more information or e-mail me at cbyrdhale@aol.com; however I will likely not be able to get back to you until after work (5:00 p.m. MDT) Monday – Friday. Please don't call after 10:00 p.m. MDT; I need my sleep. Thanks for looking. Good luck if you decide to bid.
