Up for auction is my 1990 Jeep Wrangler with 88k original miles! I purchased this Jeep to use as a project for myself, but have since decided I really do not have the time to bring it back to its former glory. Now this Jeep has plenty of potential.....but is also going to need some work as well....I'll start with the good first Good: Its a Jeep It runs and drives 4X4 works Newer Bestop soft-top in pretty nice shape No real dents, and hardly any body rust (esp for a Jeep that is 21 years old) Doors/tailgate have no rust at all 5 spd with a clutch that was replaced at 79k (per previous owner) It just passed PA state inspection a couple of months ago Never been in an accident as far as I can tell Bad: The trans grinds when you shift into 3rd and 4th There is some rust up front by the steering box (VERY common on these YJ's, quadra tec actually sells a replacement piece to fix it for $160) The tires are due for replacement Previous owner pulled the cd player out The drivers seat is bent a bit Now I'm trying to be as honest as possible with this Jeep. Please understand its a 21year old Jeep, and runs and drives like one. It still has plenty of life left in it for the right buyer. I have driven it a little over 50 miles, so it should have no issues being driven home. Feel free to ask me any questions before bidding, and I'll gladly answer them.
