Up for auction is a Nice 1998 Mercury Mystique with a 2.0 4cyl. Automatic Engine. This has been our family car for a while now. Our son took it to college for a while but has since bought a new car so we just don’t need it anymore. We have 2 vans, a truck, and another car too and since I haven't been able to drive for almost 4 years now due to back surgery, I thought someone else might be able to use a nice dependable car. Hubby hates getting rid of it cause it is SOOOO Good on gas, and with gas prices going up and up , this will be a good car for someone. There are a few things we need to mention though, just because we are HONEST Sellers. The Check Engine light is on , but it has been on for a while now , and car drives fine, probably just a sensor. My husband's work is 35 miles away and he had no problem with the car, even coming up the mountain. We do check the tranny fluid too , as it has a small leak, but transmission shifts as it should, as shown in the video. The car is 13 years old so please don’t expect a new one. There are a few blemishes- scratch here or there, but nothing at all major. The car was a rental car before we bought it so it has a few burn marks on seat (just from careless people) and one small tear. I liked the idea that the back seat folds down too for extra Cargo space. The car has always been good to us. It has all new brakes and rotors put on it ($200.00 value alone)- done for inspection, which doesn’t run out until November of 2011.
