Vehicle Detail
I was lucky and sold the first car in one day, so I am listing car number two. Purchased from upstate NY, always looking for a four door, transported to Ft. Lauderdale and here it has sat. I have joined the ranks of too many projects, no time and storage fees getting out of control. So help me out and purchase this car, for less then you think, restore it and enjoy it. It runs, it drives and it stops. Body is in good shape, very little rust, new wood in many areas, at the most new door wood to make it great. Owner before me quickly and partially painted it black to see how it would look. From my inspection it is complete, needs to have the frame restored from NY winters/rust. No major rust thru, but a finished body wouldn't look right on this frame. Not a Model A expert, but I believe it is a blindback that has what would have been the rear/side windows covered in roof material. I believe the rear engine seal is leaking the usual amount of oil. I pushed the car into it's current warehouse two months ago and the oil spot is approximately two inches round. From viewing other sales, I believe this vehicle is worth the buy it now price, actually I've set the lower then usual price in hopes the car will sell quickly. Sale is for a vehicle that needs to be restored, frame/engine cleaned/resealed/painted for sure, body needs little metal repair, mostly prep and paint. Interior needs to be redone. The vehicle will not be released until all funds are paid in full and have cleared the bank. No warranty, and I am repeating, the car needs to be restored, it needs work, it is not the type to spend a few weekends on and then drive around town. I am posting as many pictures as possible to show the vehicle at its best and worst spots. Car is for sale locally so the auction might be cancelled early. I will assist will loading. Please, please, if you bid, have the funds to complete the purchase. A deposit is required as a sign of good faith and remember, the vehicle will not be released until all funds have cleared. Thanks. On Apr-09-11 at 08:22:26 PDT, seller added the following information: ****My mistake, this is a 1929, not a 1930 and possibly a leatherback. I couldn't change the header. THIS IS A 1929, NOT A 1930, my mistake. And thanks to those who keep me informed
