Vehicle Detail

For sale, my 1968 Mustang coupe with a fuel injected 5.0 and Tremec 5 speed from a 1991 Mustang GT - Originally a California car with a 289 V8 and a C4 transmission. Registration is paid and is up to date. Engine, tranny, and rear end (3.55 gears) are rebuilt with ~900 miles (I bought both tranny and engine from a local seller, and had my mechanic check them out - the engine compression is very strong and all the gears in the tranny are in good shape). Nearly everything mechanically is new as it was replaced during the swap (clutch, rotors, battery, radiator, alternator, spark plugs, etc). Engine has Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold, a cold air intake, and long tube headers. Also has Power steering, power disc brakes in the front, the battery was relocated to the trunk, an aluminum radiator, electronic ignition, coilover suspension, 17" BBK rims, new tires (95% tread), and an Autolite gauge cluster. The car has been lowered about 1.5". The black interior is in good shape, no rips on the seats but has some slight fading in the carpet. . Rust Free and a fresh paintjob (3 months old) in Ford's Nightmist Blue. The bads: Small chip in front windshield, occasional issue with the electric fan, the speedo and tach gauges aren't hooked up - All in all, The car is missing some misc. trim, but I would say is more than 95% complete - It's drivable as is, and I have taken it on a 100 mile round trip. VIN: 8R01C148823. I can help the buyer find shipping. Now that I've covered the cut and dry parts in the first description... Let me be a little more subjective. I believe this set up to be exactly what a muscle car should be. It's fast and it sounds great. I didn't want to be beaten at stop lights by Honda Civics with an old 289 or 302... The updated engine and tranny sound like an beefed up windsor 351, but you get a nice increase in fuel economy as well! These Mustangs were meant to be loved and driven, not collecting dust in a garage. *Back up for sale due to non paying bidder. If you have 0 feedback, please contact me BEFORE placing the bid. I will include the electrical fan with the car if the seller would like. I have also thrown on a magnaflow exhaust for the same reason - it'll be much easier driving it home with mufflers than without.
