This Florida owned Cadillac was purchased new in 1967 and inherited by the owners daughter who spent well over $15,000 in mechanics, paint, interior and custom accessories in her fathers honor. This Mercedes runs and drives like a champ. The 340hp 7.0 liter 429ci V8 runs super smooth, quiet and powerful and the 3-speed transmission shifts flawlessly. Recent services include a tune up and oil change, new upper and lower ball joints, lower control arms, new steering box, rear shocks and complete new exhaust. It drives down the road straight and smooth with no shakes or rattles. The air bag suspension works perfectly and makes this Caddy a true show car that gets too much attention. You can adjust the front left, right and rear left right while driving or parked. Another show stopping feature is the high quality custom pearl cream and gold metal-flake two tone paint job with hand painted teal pin stripe. The door jam and under trunk areas were also painted. The body is razor straight with no waves or body work showing. There are a few bubbles in the paint showing on the lower rocker panel but is rust free. All of the chrome is in excellent condition and the undercarriage is solid and rust free. The interior is as nice as the exterior. The seats have been redone and look great. The carpets look to be original and are in excellent condition. The convertible top looks great and works perfectly. The power windows and seat are all working properly as well. Some items that require some attention are the fuel and temperature gauges and the climate control.
