1974 Honda CB

This is a very rare Honda Cl125 that was converted in 1974 so that it comes apart into 3 components (front end, handlebars and rear in order to fit in the baggage compartment of an airplane. I inherited it from a friend of 40 years who purchased it new. I also inherited the Piper Aztec that it was stored in. I had a Honda mechanic go through it and spent $543 getting it in good running condition. It will carry two adults and has surprising torque and speed--I know because we used it in Florida 25 years ago. Only item that needs fixing is the turn signals (I just don't have time to trace down the problem). Cosmetically it has a small dent in the front fender and the speedometer face is cracked but still waterproof. It would be perfect for an airplane or travel trailer. It runs Great!! I understand only about 500 of these bikes were built by a California company.On Apr-08-11 at 13:16:34 PDT, seller added the following information: One thing I forgot is that the luggage rack/backrest can be removed by pressing two quick releases and removing two nuts in about a minute! So there can actually be four parts!
