We got this car down in the hills of Kentucky and has the original Bill of Sale. Shows it was bought new by C. Daniel Boone. What was done to this number matchings car is somewhat of ashame. The age old story the owner had big ideas on restoring. He quit and parked car before finishing. This SS has it all going for it. Original protecto plate, original purchase order slip, and all motor numbers match. This has the makings of a real top notch car. Come look at our car. You will see this car has had no metal work. The trunk area is perfect with no repairs. No quarters ever put in. Inner rockers are perfect. outer rockers never been replaced. No welding done in floors and does not need any work done on bottom. Come listen to this original 396 run. It has been out and completely gone through. It was bored to a 402 and now has a crane cam. We pictured the specs. for cam. as original papers show it has been a 4 speed car its whole life. This car came as a matador red, not sure why. The owner went with black. Black paint has not been color sanded or buffed so to repaint this car at this point would be fairly easy. Car came with black vinyl top. Car also was ordered with special suspension-check original order sheet. All glass is tinted. Still has original positraction. We do not have the original radio. We found this VERY VERY interesting. The original purchaser of this car Daniel Boone showed up at our business this week with actual photos taken back when he originally bought the car. We added the picture to this ebay ad. If you want a good honest car please take the time to come inspect. There are few left in the whole country that come anywhere close to the calibur of this car. This body is awesome, and the motor is fresh. Lots spent on motor-you can tell. Come to Lawrenceburg Indian and witness a very fine car. Sand it down, paint it back matador red, add the vinyl top, head for the drag strip. We try to put as many pictures as possible.
