This is a very solid 55 sedan with a 235 6 cylinder and 3 speed overdrive tranny. It runs and drives and is a factory Belair car. It was first fixed up in the 60's complete with the metallic blue paint. blue shag carpet and white diamond vinyl upholstery. It still has the original seats, engine , tranny, chrome Belair trim etc. It starts right up and can be driven down the road, however the carb sputters a little, but idles nice, bad exhaust leak on header pipe, bad tires and the brakes work but who knows when they were last redone. This is not a car you can drive very far with-out some restoration work. It does have a very solid body with nice floors both in the passenger area and trunk. It has a couple of tiny rust holes in the very back on rear of trunk lip but very minor..some surface rust on the floor. this is a great little project with a clear Oregon Title . The overdrive does work. This car restored or made into a hotrod would make a great car...It has some dings and the drivers door has a little bondo popping ..but overall a very good start.
