I am selling my 1965 ford f100 short bed truck. It has a strong running 6 cylinder engine and a standard transmission (granny gear). This truck runs very well for it's age. It has a re-built carburetor, new plugs,new cap and wires and a new fuel pump. It also has new oil and filter. This truck also has a/c and it works!!!! The body on this truck is very solid. As you will see in the pictures. I did not paint the floor boards on the truck so you could see just how solid this truck really is!! I did paint the frame with semi-gloss black paint. The frame is very straight and solid as well. The suspension on the truck is not new, but works very well. The wiring on the truck is original, and has not been cut and is still soft and pliable (good working condition). This is not a frame -off restoration,but It is driver quality. This truck had been sitting for over twenty years in a farm in Fabens,Texas inside a barn. I know it is hard to believe,but it is true. That would explain just how solid and complete this truck is !! The truck came originally red with white. It has only had one new paint job in its life. I decided to go with a butternut yellow and white paint job. The paint is not a chip foose paint job, but is pretty nice for a driver. All the moldings, bumpers and trim are all original except the rear bed moldings and the twin I beam emblems. Those are brand new. The glass is complete and all original as well.This is a custom cab truck that came with factory chrome bumpers, chrome trim,seat belts, dash pad, am radio and a/c !! This was a treat for a truck to have all these options in 1965 ! The truck needs new weather stripping on the doors. The radio does light up, but no sound comes on. I guess it needs a new speaker. I have described my truck to you as best as i can. This is a classic vehicle that is sold in as-is condition. Now let me tell you the cool stuff about my truck. I am picture car coordinator for the motion picture industry. Basically my job is to find, place and restore a picture car for a film shoot. My truck featured in a film shoot titled "undocumented" filmed in 2010 in Santa Fe New Mexico. My truck was the getaway car for the prisoners who escaped from a prison. That was pretty cool to see. My truck also featured in the cover of Sundance catalog in 2010. This still shoot was shot in Marfa, Texas . I have tons of pictures and documentation i will give to the purchaser.
