Vehicle Detail
Nice, little, 1966 red Corvair Monza 110 coupe. Virtually an original survivor other than earlier repaint and recent rebuilt engine. This car could be a daily driver or show and parade car. Shiny red paint with clear coat. Some clear coat has peeled in some places. The only bad spots on the body are shown in the pictures below front corners of windshield and driver's rear quarter panel. Other than those, the car is straight and solid. The underpan is clean and rust free. Under the hood and trunk are nice and clean. Window glass and stainless trim and chrome mostly in very good shape. Black interior very nice including dash, seats, and door panels. Headliner has one small hole near dome light, but otherwise near perfect. The carpet is faded, but could be dyed or replaced to make the interior near perfect. I drove this car on Route 66 from Joplin, MO to the California border in 2007. I sucked a valve on the trip and had the engine completely rebuilt. Over $2400 invested in the rebuild. Only a couple of thousand miles driven since. I have $5,400 invested and previously loaned to me on the car by a friend as thus, the buy it now price indicates.
