1978 Suzuki GS

For sale a 1978 Suzuki GS1000 Super Light. This is the grandfather of the now know as GSXR, the original in line 4 cylinder which is bullet proof still used today. Only 2 owners, my uncle and I for only the past year. This bike is in great shape with only 16.852 original miles on it. EVERYTHING is in perfect working condition and problem free, ready to be on the road. To better help you, this is an evaluation that I made on the bike from 1 to 10 (1 bad, 10 perfect) ENGINE - 9 Solid, no smoke, noises, knocking, smoke, no leaks (just 2 "air fins" on the right side of the engine is broken, please see pic) Electrical - 10 Head lights, turn signals, odometer lights and so on ALL PERFECT!!! Brakes - 8.5 Brakes and all lines and cables are working fine, maybe some lubrication on the levers, but other than that all great and no need to work, plenty of rubber left on the tires, i would say at least 20.000 miles. Body/FRAME 8.5 Not one scratch on this bike, paint is perfect, frame is solid and no corrosion, only the chrome now is starting too look a bit rust...i would say that 80% of is good, but workable. The BADS... The only problem is this bike are as fallows. 1- A minor tear on the seat 2- Bolt is missing on the right side cover 3- 2 or 3 "air fins" on the right side of the engine is broken (this does not affect in any way the engine at all) You can see them on the clip.
