1958 Jaguar XK 150 Fixed Head Coupe parts car, matching numbers, automatic transmission, original owner’s manual, clear title. Bidding to start at $7500.00. No Reserve. Non-refundable deposit of $500 by PayPal within 48 hours of end of auction; balance due within 7 days. Funds must clear bank before car is removed. Winning bidder will then have 30 days to remove the car and all its parts. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up or shipping. The car rolls freely and steers, but the engine, seats, and brakes have been removed… a trailer will be required for transporting this car to your destination. The engine/transmission are original to the car, but are currently mounted in a roll-around stand (see photo). This stand is part of the auction, and goes with the engine. (If this is a problem for you, contact me) The seller has owned this Jaguar since January 1972. When acquired, the car had already been damaged in an accident. The aluminum bonnet (hood) had come loose and bent back over the top of the car. Because of the damage, the seller immediately began the process of what was hoped would be a frame up restoration. The car was disassembled and the important parts were stored indoors. The engine was rebuilt (new rings and bearings)… preserving oil sprayed into the cylinders… and then the engine was set aside. The engine does turn over, with a big breaker bar, even after all these years. The car itself has always been stored under roof, kept dry, but in an unheated space. The car’s previous owner had begun the repair work on the right front wing. He had a vocational school’s students do the bodywork. The seller removed their plastic body filler to see what was underneath. There are the usual rust issues that Jaguars of this vintage often have (see photos). The body has never been off the frame. On the plus side, this is a car with many original parts. For years, it’s all just been stored away… awaiting restoration. The car and its parts are being sold “as is”, with no guarantee as to condition or usefulness. The buyer will receive all the 1958 Jaguar parts shown in the photos. There will be some additional minor parts… but, bid on what you see. Contact the seller with questions, if you wish.
