Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe with T-Tops. This is my son's car. We purchased the car from an auction dealer. This car's condition is far from immaculate, but runs good and drives straight. Here's what I know about the car... We've owned the car for about 2 years. We replaced the A/C compressor, A/C fan motor, serpentine belt, fuel pump, stereo, DS rear view mirror, all fluids, headliner, and sunvisors to match. These repairs totaled around $1,600. From the history report I ran prior to purchasing the vehicle, and looking at the vehicle, I don't believe it has been wrecked. Unfortunately, it was previously mistreated and has the following known problems... The driver's seat floats back on the front left corner. There seems to be a bolt missing or something. Also, it was ripped and has crudely been repaired. The trunk cylinders won't hold the trunk up. The paint is faded on the nose, and the clearcoat finish is chipping away in some places. The rear tires will need to be replaced soon. The fronts don't look bad. The front passenger wheel is scuffed on the outer lip for about 1/4 of the way around, like it's rubbed a curb or something. Aftermarket electric motors and switches have been crudely installed on the windows, and are wired backwards as added bonus. However, they do work. We removed an aftermarket security system, but an unused LED remains in the dash. The check engine light comes on occasionally, but always goes back out. The infamous camaro dash is probably cracked worse than I've ever seen. We elected to install a cover. The driver's rear view mirror inside cover is missing. The adjustment works, but it's pushed behind the door panel. The small bezel beneath the shifter pops up sometimes. Now, it isn't all bad. Other than the tires, I feel like the remaining problems are fairly minor. The car runs good. It has plenty of power and everything works. A/C, heater, stereo, lighting all work good. The gauges all seem to work good. The car runs cool, and straight down the highway. The T-Tops do not leak. The new stereo was professionally installed and looks clean. The engine is a 3.4 SFI V6 with an aftermarket air filter. I don't know of any other aftermarket equipment installed. The engine starts easy when cold and gets good fuel mileage. We're selling the vehicle because my son is heading to college and received a new vehicle for graduation. This is a No Reserve .99 starting auction. The highest bid will win the car. If anyone would like to look at the vehicle, email me at bnkebay@gmail.com, and we will make sure you have an opportunity to do so prior to bidding. All emailed offers will be considered, but I am not placing a Buy It Now on the car. I have the clear title in my possession. A $200 deposit via paypal will be due at the end of the auction. Remainder will be due on pickup. No personal checks or credit cards will be accepted. If you bring a Cashier's check, I will require it be cleared through my bank prior to releasing the title or the vehicle. Thank you for looking, and feel free to email with questions.
