Vehicle Detail
Nice little Nova waiting to be restored. I tried to take pics of all areas anyone would be concerned with (everywhere). The frame rails are very solid, as is the decklid. It has rust in the lower quarters, rear window, and windshield. It has some light rust in the trunk, but you can hardly see it in the pics other than surface rust. There are some small holes at the back of the trunk. The hood will need replaced. The fenders have some small rust at the bottom, but could be patched. The doors are solid, but the driver's door will need body work for a large dent in the front of it. The floor also looks real nice in the pics, but there are some small holes in the front, primarily in the passenger floor pan area, just can't see very well in the pics. Also, you can see that someone cut up the trans tunnel for some shifter at one point. The car was partially disassembled for soda blasting by the prior owner, and the cowl and vin tag were removed along with the interior and trim. The cowl tag and vin plate were never found, although I have a clear title to the car. The cowl tag can definately be reproduced, but I am not sure about reproducing the vin plate. If one cannot be reproduced, an assigned vin can be issued by a state. Either way, there is a clean clear title in my name, ready to transfer to the new owner. The previous owner told me it was an opriginal 4 speed car, and the manual trans pedals are still in the car with most of the linkages. It appears the original color was red with a black interior. The seats are also gone, although there are some non-original bucket seats in the car. There is no rear seat. The dash looks to be pretty complete. I think all of the trim is there. It is off the car and I could have sworn I took a photo of it, but I apparently didn't (the car is an hour from my house in a garage, and I didn't notice until I got home that I didn't have the photo). I can take one of the other parts if someone really wants to see them. The rear end is a ten bolt, I don't know if it is original or not. I also have a 1967 Munice 4 speed with shifter and bellhousing that goes with the car, although it is not original to the car. I will take $400 off of the price if you don't want the Muncie. I also have a good front bumper with brackets. It doesn't look new, but it is straight, not rusty, and good for a driver, as is the rear bumper. The tires will air up for it to roll onto a trailer, but there is a tie rod off the car, so it is hard to steer. I can deliver the car to anybody within 500 miles for 80 cents per mile one way. Please call me with any questions and I will be happy to answer any I can. Thanks, Chris 501-410-3229.
