Super clean '71 Convertible, a real "head turner" that won 1st place in the '94 Northwest VW Club's Wintermeet event. 15K miles on a rebuilt engine, runs excellent, has never had any major engine problems. Body is superb, no rust, and only a few minor paint chip defects. New gas tank/gauge/speedometer/lines; new struts, front end & tires as well as front shoulder belts (receipts on hand). Purchased in '01, received regular tune ups & oil changes; was garaged and only driven during summer months. Very nice Kenwood stereo & Clifford alarm system. A joy to drive (was an anniversary present for the wife), but have to move next summer and need to sell. Convertible top weather seal needs replacing (required parts included with sale). Buyer must pick up or arrange shipping.
