Up for auction is this 1974 Jeep CJ. This a six cylinder engine (258 cubic inch.) The engine DOES NOT smoke. Three speed synchronized transmission. Has power steering and power brakes. The heater works great and will keep you toasty, even on the coldest of days. Features a new Walker exhaust, from front to rear. There are also new front rotators and new brake pads. The brake lines are stainless steel, with new hoses. It has a Delco battery, which is approximately one year old and a stainless steelbattery tray. (Will never rust out.) The spare tire is brand new. (It has never been on the road.) The spare tire cover is also brand new. The wheels are factory Renegade wheels, which are somewhat rare. The exterior of this vehicle is "Sunshine Yellow." This Jeep has a fiberglass body (costing thousands of dollars.) The body is in good shape, with no cracks. New bushings, with stainless steel hardware. Many of the other nuts and bolts on this vehicle have been replaced, and are also stainless steel. The frame is in good shape. It has been painted and undercoated. The bikini top is also brand new. The interior of this Jeep is black. The factory seats and console are in good shape, as can be seen in the pictures provided. All lights are in working order. Windshield wipers also work fine. New mirrors (right and left side), new tail lights, new side steps. Stainless steel hood vent, hinges and hood locks. Two sets of keys will be given to buyer for the ignition. The ignition switch is brand new. This Jeep should have no trouble passing any state inspection. It has a new emergency brake cable installed, but needs to be adjusted. The Sony radio is not working. Needs rear speakers. There are no keys for the center console, so therefore it will not lock.
