Vehicle Detail
I am selling my one-of-a-kind Honda CB100 Cafe Racer She was manufactured in 1972 but not titled until 1973. It sounds like a race bike and obviously looks it. Engine has been opened up and adjusted to get max power and output. It runs lean and fast and loud. This thing flies around the city, and gets major attention wherever I go. It runs perfectly, starts first kick and idles great. I never need to use the choke even when it's been sitting covered for a month in the cold, but then it takes a few kicks to get her going. New battery and rectifier installed, and carbs rebuilt last summer. Gas tank had some rust but has been lined and the petcock is new. Blinkers have been added as well as a mirror on the left handlebar end, and there is a cool looking rear brake light from a '57 Chevy on the lower left side. Paint job is new. Registered and licensed in Washington DC and title is clean. It is street legal and has everything it needs to pass inspection. This is a smaller motorcycle weighing in at about 185 or 190 lbs, not sure but stock is about 205-10 lbs so this is obviously less, which is why it is so fun to ride around on. I am 5'7 and it fits me perfectly. I have a decent looking albeit a bit banged up CB360 that I ride around on currently that is more practical for day-to-day riding in the city. Winning bidder takes care of shipping or pickup. On Mar-29-11 at 07:17:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Actually it only has 5410 miles on it. I have added more pictures. On Mar-30-11 at 07:41:28 PDT, seller added the following information: Top speed is 80 mph.On Mar-30-11 at 10:39:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Hey, all. Glad to see so many folks watching this auction. I keep getting the question of how much I want for this motorcycle. I won't say what the reserve is but I will say that I have $3,000 invested, and the reserve is way below that amount. On Mar-30-11 at 13:23:18 PDT, seller added the following information: I see that the current bidder is new as of 2 days ago and has 0 feedback. Sorry but, I cannot and will not accept bids from new members with 0 feedback. On Mar-30-11 at 21:07:15 PDT, seller added the following information: I have to say that if you all are wondering about top speed and the like, then you had better bring a parachute. If you go 80 miles an hour on this, bring your wings. 80 on this feels like 120 on a sport bike.
