Great Deal Low Price Original Owner Non-Smoker 1994 Impala SS 198,000 kms (Approx. 120,000 Miles) VIN#1G1BN52P1RR183363 1 Owner (Original July 1994) Non Smoker CD Player Power Seats Power Windows & Locks Completely Stock No Performance Modifications Runs Great No Oil Leaks 4 x Winter Tires on Steel Rims 8/32 inch Tread (64%) (New 12.5/32 inch depth) 4 x Stock 17 inch SS Alloy Rims With Bridgestone Potenza I have owned this car since brand new and have taken care of it over the years very well, It has been painted 3 times in it's life, had a complete new floor installed about 5 years ago along with 12 of the body mounts, had a ton of parts replaced over the years things that wear out were replace i.e. Power steering pump, water pump, alternator, complete new stainless muffler system front to back about 3-4 years ago. It has always been service by the same GM dealership here in town, never have installed a generic part always original GM parts. Always starts when it's cold, have never plug it in even the coldest days with the wind blowing off the lake it would start, heater works great as most GM vehicles of this era. Last time I checked the gas mileage it was getting 16-17 miles / gallon in the city and 26-27 mpg highway cruising at 120 km an hour. There has been no noticeable change in my gas bill and it seems to be like clock work when I have to refuel and after 16 years I would notice a change. Things that are wrong with it: 1. First it's a 16 year old car that has been driven 13 of the 15 winters of it's life so it has rust and I have tried to show pictures of the rust as clear as possible. 2. One of the headers the bolt is broken off and there is an exhaust leak when it's cold, once it warms up you don't notice it anymore. 3. The LCD display doesn't show the mileage or speed anymore unless there is a temperature change outside and some times you can hit the top of the dash and it works again. Seems when it's warm out it works, when it's cold it doesn't, from what the dealership told me the circuit board has a crack in it which makes sense as it works when the temperature changes. 4. The temperature gauge stopped working about 5 years ago and I got the dealership to install one on the post to the right of the driver. 5. ABS brakes seized up 10 years ago, actually the year after the 5 year warranty they stopped working. What the dealership told me it's the cylinder that actuates the ABS brakes is what seized because I didn't use the ABS (didn't drive it hard so it didn't come on, so I never replaced the cylinder) 6. Dash is starting to discolour on the top as most plastic dashes do. 7. Driver's seat the leather has started to split. 8. Tinted window film is starting to come off the glass 9. Needs a complete brake job. 10. Air Conditioning dead This would make the perfect project car or one hell of a smash up car.
