This is a beautiful , not modified, 1956 Chevy 150. Six cylinder, "three on the tree" standard, for you retro collectors. If you are not a nostalga collector, this beauty would make an excellent platform for your muscle car; just bolt in your goodies and go! I purchased this car last year from a gentleman in Ohio. Now I have found myself with six cars and only room for five and had to pick another one to go. I also have a 1957 Chevy and decided that one older Chevy had to go. The car was owned by a lady in Stockton, CA (original owner) from 1956 until 2005. I have a lot of the old original owner registration certificates, etc. Based on receipts that I found, the car was painted about 9 years ago. The paint is still very nice. The chrome is beautiful. New clutch, rear motor mounts, and new brakes were just done. The pictures are true and accurate as far as condition is concerned. No rust on body and the picture of the door jamb is typical of all of them. The floor boards, etc. are original and very solid; great glass all around. The chassis has typical surface rust discoloration but is not in any way damaged or compromised as far as structure is concerned. The car has bias ply white walls and drives like it did in 1956. Just like 99% of all Blue Flame 235 CI engines, the rear main seal leaks a little bit, but can be easily replaced with a new style seal without pulling the engine (I have the seal and pan gasket already). In 1956, the 150 had only two options available, the right hand rear view mirror and a cigarette lighter. This beauty has only one, the right hand rear view mirror. The interior is beautiful and redone one year ago. I added the Ecklers seat track extensions for taller or fatter drivers like me. I will welcome any inspections prior to the end of this listing.
