THE STORY:For sale is a 2002 Double Yellow "Concept" Turbo Beetle. This new-style beetle was considered concept because it was manufactured in limited quantities and in only three colors – yellow, blue, and orange. This yellow beetle is as good they come, and is only being sold because soon-to-be-grandma is going to need a little something bigger to carry around her new grand-baby. Powered by a 1.8 litre Turbo Engine with an automatic transmission, the rear spoiler automatically deploys once you reach a certain speed to provide even-better handling and responsiveness in the steering wheel. The double yellow paint really shines and still turns heads whenever driven in town. The interior is simply gorgeous. Black and yellow leather with yellow stitching throughout, including the seats, steering wheel, and doors! The front seats are heated to keep you warm in the winter. The sun roof opens to keep you cool in the spring and fall. And during summer? Tinted windows and an ICE-COLD A/C! A Monsoon Premium Sound System with 6-CD Changer provides a great soundtrack to a fun driving experience. And premium VW wheels with factory-installed yellow inserts are the icing on the cake. THE CONDITION:As I mentioned before, this car is as good as they come. With only 56K miles, it's understandable that the car is in such immaculate condition. There's always been floor-mats and a custom-dash cover in the car, meaning the carpet and interior is in like-new condition. The car has always been garaged so the sun hasn't had a chance to bake the leather on the seats nor the paint on the hood. With minimal road-wear, the paint really shines. The clear-coat is in perfect condition, and you just won't find a faded spot in that bold yellow exterior. The tires and wheels are in great shape, and everything else is mechanically sound. This beetle has been regularly-maintenanced by the same VW dealer where the vehicle was purchased. And only premium gas has been used for the life of the car. THE SALE:The car is being listed on ebay and locally, so we reserve the right to end the auction should we find a buyer in town.
