1984 vw vanagonThis was going to be my winter project but never got to it. I found something else so here you go. Runs good, starts good. Slight bit rusty. doesn't leak, if it does it's very minimal and I haven't noticed it. When I picked it up I was putting about 200 miles a day on it with no problems. recently I have noticed some brake noise coming from the rear wheel, so I am guessing it needs new shoes (about $20 at NAPA). I stopped driving it till I could get around to replacing them and decided to just throw the whole thing on ebay. it also needs new hatch struts. other than that it's cosmetic like the bits of rust and the interior needs some seat-covers or the seats redone. Fuel injected water-cooled automatic... that means heat for all of you with fond freezing memories of older busses. this can be driven daily but since it's more than 25 years old you might want to go through and fix some things up. I'm starting the bidding at $200, reserve at $950. anything less than that and I can make my money parting it, which i don't really have the time for. You can look at the van if you want but I am not interested in ending it early, nor am I interested in selling it to anyone outside the us unless you show up with cash us dollars and drive it away. sold as is where is no warranty.
