I have a 2000 Jaguar S Type with about 138K on the engine. I've had it for a little over 2 years and the Carfax is clean. It would be a great car for a mechanic or to sell for parts as most parts are in working order and in decent condition. Great Project car. PLEASE NO LOW BALL OFFERS-THE RESERVE IS VERY LOW AND FAIR FOR THIS CAR-I KNOW THE PARTS ALONE CAN BE WORTH AT LEAST $5-$6 Thousand on a car like this. The vehicle has also had issues with its gearshift (tranny issue?) and electrical issues as well. About a month ago it died on the road and there was oil leaking from the bottom. I'm not sure if a belt snapped or what the issue could be but it’s most likely something to do with the engine. The car does not start. I'm purchasing a new vehicle and do not want to put any more money into this one. The windshield is cracked as well. I have most of the service records since I purchased the car a few years ago. The body is in decent shape with a small dent on the back passenger door and regular dings here and there. The interior is in average condition for its age. The car has 3 TV's installed, a DVD player and 2 CD changers (I never tested the TV's or one of the CD changers in the glove box). I have the manual and 1 set of keys. All of the power options work. CAR IS SOLD AS-IS-With no Warranty or Guarantee Whatsoever. You would need to arrange pick up of vehicle as it does not start or run. I have the clear title in hand. I would assume that the car would need engine and tranny work, maybe even replacements. I'm not a mechanic and I cannot be a 100% sure but that's why the price and the reserve is so low.
