Up for auction is this great running 1977 Datsun 280Z 2+2 I have had this car for about 2 years and have enjoyed it very much. Interior: Driver seat has a torn on the bottom and side of the top cover. Passenger side has a small tear on the bottom but the rest is good shape. Back seats are in great shape and no tears and the headliner is also in very great shape as well. The radio is missing and the dash has a few cracks and would need a dash cap. The clock does not work but all the other gauges work. Rear defroster does not work. Small chip on the front windshield and all other glass is good. The hood release knob is missing. Carpet is fading and has a torn/hole in the trunk area not big. Body: This car has been repainted but the clear coat is coming off in places. The top and trunk and hood have clear coat coming off. There is a rust hole under the batter and a small rust spot on the right rear quarter panel and a small rust bubble on the hood. The rest of the body is pretty rust free but might have small surface rust in some places but not bad at all. The right front bumper end is split in two. Small dent on the rear bumper and the valance cover. Tires have good tread and still have the original hub caps. Mechanical: Runs and drives great … Just installed a new timing chain and water pump. Adjusted the valves and did a tune up. Radiator was also repaired due to a small leak. Also installed a new clutch fan… Heater works great but the a/c does not work. This car has manual steering and power brakes, one steering boot is torn. Power antenna works….tight front end. All in all this is a very clean 280Z 2+2 fun to drive and I love the long front end. Has very little rust in the rocker panel and a med hole under the battery. Front seat is torn on the bottom and also the small torn on the passenger. It runs great and smooth on the expressway.
