Up for auction is my 1964 Chevrolet Belair . What I can tell you about the car is that it runs and drives great , it has a 289 with newer updated transmission which shifts great , it runs well starts right up , the brakes work well as does the power steering . It is not a show car and could use a coat of paint , it does have a few areas with a small amount of rust as pictured , the sills appear solid as does the floor and most of the trunk area . The interior seats are in great shape as are the door panels , I do believe the actual handles could use recovering . The glass is good all round with no cracks , the little quarter windows on the drivers doors both still work , all the doors open and shut , all the windows go up and down correctly . There is a 289 V8 under the hood with Edelbrock intake manifold , new Holley carb . as is had said earlier replaced transmission , the carrier bearings on the propshaft replaced as well , the radiator was recored last year . There are headers and under the car , (cherry bomb) boxes , I would personally consider changing them as it does make the car sound loud when driving it for a while . She goes down the road great , straight without pulling from side to side , rides very comfortably at 55 to 65 miles an hour , I am sure she would go a lot faster but I have had no need to try . The springs have been lowered as you can see , the rims and tyres are in decent shape as well . Other than that I am not sure what to tell you , she is a running driving car that in my opinion needs minor bodywork and a fresh coat of paint , it can easily currently be driven daily .
